About Which iPhone

Which iPhone helps you decide which iPhone to buy using structured analysis and real tradeoffs, not hype, rumors, or spec overload.

I'm not here to tell you to buy the most expensive iPhone. I'm here to help you buy the right one.

Who writes this

Agus Guerra

I'm Agus Guerra, a mobile engineer with 15+ years of experience building apps for iOS and Android. I evaluate devices through real-world use such as development, daily work, and long-term ownership, not spec sheets. I care about what actually changes the experience, not what marketing makes look important.

When I evaluate an iPhone, I'm thinking about how it performs as a development device, a daily driver, and a long-term investment. I've made these decisions for myself across many upgrade cycles, and I've helped others make them too. That experience is what this site is built on.

What this site is for

Which iPhone exists to help you make clear, rational decisions when buying an iPhone.

Apple's lineup gets more complex every year. Pro, Pro Max, Plus, multiple storage tiers, and price gaps that aren't always justified.

The goal is simple:

Provide structured, unbiased guidance so you can choose the right model with confidence and avoid overspending.

What I analyze

I evaluate iPhone models based on:

  • Official Apple specifications
  • Battery life comparisons
  • Display size and weight differences
  • Camera hardware distinctions
  • Storage tiers and pricing gaps
  • Software support history
  • Long term ownership value

I focus on tradeoffs, not marketing language.

Small differences matter, but only in the right context.

My approach

Every recommendation is built around three questions:

  1. Who is this model actually for?
  2. When is paying more justified?
  3. When is it unnecessary?

In many cases, the more expensive model is not the smarter choice.

I explain why clearly and directly.

Independence and transparency

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you purchase through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

This allows me to maintain and update the site consistently.

Affiliate partnerships do not influence my recommendations. If a model is not worth the upgrade, I will say so.

Why this site exists

Most buyers do not need the most powerful iPhone.

They need the most appropriate one.

Which iPhone was built to simplify that decision with structured analysis and clear comparisons, written by someone who has built apps on this hardware for over a decade.

No hype. No noise. Just clarity.
